About WorldWalker
WorldWalker is a persistent, browser-based 3D universe where life continues beyond the player's session. Characters have histories, relationships, goals, families, work, and consequences. Civilizations evolve, events change the world, and the universe does not exist solely to serve the player.
We are an independent game studio building a living world — one where your choices matter, your absence has consequences, and history is written whether you are watching or not.
WorldWalker is currently in early access. Features, gameplay, and systems are actively being developed and improved based on player feedback.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WorldWalker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use WorldWalker to harass, abuse, or harm other players; to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities; to use automated tools or bots; or to engage in any activity that disrupts the service or other users' experience.
4. Virtual Content
All in-game content, characters, items, and progress are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. WorldWalker reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove any virtual content at any time.
5. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of WorldWalker after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-game notification.
Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
We collect your email address and password (hashed) when you create an account. We also collect gameplay data such as character name, position, and in-game actions to provide the game service.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to operate and improve WorldWalker. We use your email to authenticate your account and send important service notifications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for optional sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies to that authentication process. We only receive your email address and basic profile information.
Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
WorldWalker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information immediately.
